Time to celebrate!

Yay! Master complete :) It feels so good to have it over with, but it's kind of bittersweet because I know I should/could have changed some things and proofread some more...but anyway, it's delivered so there is nothing more to do! :) Now I just have to study for my last two exams, and then, hopefully, I'm completely done :D I invited some girls over to celebrate with me on Saturday, and it was so much fun!

Have I told you guys that I've gotten a job? Well, I GOT A JOB! It starts monday June 8th, so no time for a summer vacay between my last exams and the start of the new job, but who cares! I'm too excited to care about vacation now :) :) The job is in Oslo, so now it's time to pack all of my (our) things and get ready for moving. I have about a week after my last exam until I start working, so a lot will have to get done in that week. But my boyfriend is working here all of June, so we have to take it a bit at a time. Ah, summer in Oslo, I can't wait! It's going to be so exciting and nerve-wracking to start in a new job, but I am really looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities ahead!

Have a great week :)

Sunshine

The last couple of days have been amazing!

I love to go for a hike to get a break from writing, and with this amazing weather you just have to smile!
Happy face on my way to school in the sun :)
Today I left school early just to get out in the sun, I figured I had to enjoy it while the sunshine was still here - after all, the weather forecast for the rest of the week does not look a lot like this! It's better to go to school, do your best, take a break and enjoy the sun, and then get back to the thesis later when you're filled up with energy. :)
This was at 17-18 o'clock, earlier it was 21 (!!) degrees!

We've really got a taste of summer these last couple of days, and I love it! I'm not looking forward to the rain and chilly weather ahead, but at least I got to enjoy the good weather we had - and now I have to finish my thesis anyway, so a little rain is okay when you have to sit inside in front of a computer:)

My latest buys

Here are some of my latest buys from Manchester last month and Oslo yesterday, getting ready for spring and summer! :)

 Flower Crown from BikBok

 Shoes from New Look

 Shirt from BikBok

 Shirt from Primark

 Jacket from New Look

 Jacket from Dorothy Perkins

 Top from Primark

 Bag from New Look

Leather skirt from BikBok/Lene Orvik

I'm so happy about everything! :) Now I plan to have a break from shopping, not that I've been shopping a lot lately, but I am still a student and there is nothing that I really need. I realize that there is going to be tons of stuff that I'm going to want to buy when summer is closing in, and if I do get a job I think I need to get some more "work outfits", but the plan is to not buy anything at least till the end of May :)

Here in Bergen the sun is shining, so I think I'm going to go for a hike before the Chelsea-United match later :) School is on tomorrows agenda, so I have to enjoy the weather today! Have a good weekend :)

Flower power!

Flowers makes me so happy! There is something magical about it; when you have fresh flowers surrounding you, life just gets better :)

 Yellow roses for easter :)

Well, I guess I should have ironed the tablecloth...
Yesterday I bought two bouquets of tulips. :) Ah, I just love fresh flowers! It makes writing my thesis a little easier ;) Have a good weekend!

2 weeks and counting

Today it's two weeks until deadline day. I can't wait to get it over with, but there is still a lot of work left to do, so I just have to hang in there the last couple of weeks! Here are some snapshots from my week as a exhausted student.

Home office in the couch! Sometimes I just get so tired of writing, and what better to do then than to work while you're relaxing on the couch?

It's pretty awesome if I can say so myself :)

You also have days that look a lot like this...

Busted!

Haha! Well, I didn't spend my entire day with my head placed on the desk or playing farm heroes, but sometimes your brain gets so tired, and you get so  frustrated over the work that's left that there's nothing left to do than to take five! (or 30..) Just two more weeks! I'm going to be sooooo happy when I'm done!! :)

Manchester part two

We didn't spend all of our time in Manchester at Old Trafford, in addition we also had time for some shopping, to wander around and to eat some delicious food.
We arrived pretty late on friday, so we found a place just around the corner from our hotel. According to my boyfriend this was the best food he ate on the entire trip :) I ordered butter chicken, but I was a bit dissapointed, after hearing Bjarte talk about it on Radioresepsjonen (a radio show in Norway) I guess I had a little too high expectations.

After the tour on saturday we went to Manchester Arndale. I didn't actually do a lot of shopping, we were both too tired (hello?! I should have realized that I was getting sick when I was to tired to shop...the following week was spent in bed..), Anyway I finally bought a pair of Nike Air Max 90! After almost a year of contemplating if I should or shouldn't I did it, and it turned out to be an awesome purchase - I've used them almost every day since!
So after shopping we drank a couple of beers and just hung out in our hotel :)
After recharging, we realized it was time to get some food, so we wandered around until we found a place that seemed good (and had room for us - we didn't make any reservations).
I got the classic pizza with mozzerella, tomato and basil, my favorite without a doubt!
 Couple-selfie :)
The next day we decided not to eat breakfast at the hotel. Best decision ever!
We ordered the biggest breakfast ever (well, we did not, they had bigger sizes *three eggs, three sausages etc*, but it was pretty big!). It was the perfect morning before leaving for the match.
Later that night we went to a place my boyfriend had discovered on tripadvisor. He had way to high expectations after the first restaurant we went to, and therefor got a bit dissapointed. The food was really good, it was just the memory of what had been that made it a little less awesome than what it really was.
The last day I had to buy myself a one-pound-umbrella, haha! No way I my hair was going to get curly and unruly ;)
We spent a lot of time at Primark (I always have to see what they have, it's so cheap!) and then we had lunch at TGIF :)

We ended the day at the National Football Museum. It was a lot of fun and many cool things to see. But it ended badly, as I lost to my boyfriend in both Football manager and foosball! Haha, I'm kidding, I was still soaring after Sunday's big win so I really could'nt care less ;)
Loser vs Winner.

All in all, we had the best time! What more could a girl ask for? United won the game, I got to do some shopping and I basicly just enjoyed myself :) It was a bummer to wake up with a fever on tuesday, but it was totally worth it after the awesome weekend I had. Time to start saving so that I can do this again! :)
