Manchester part one

It's been a while! I've been too busy with my thesis and life in general to even think about my blog :)
In my last post I wrote that I was going to Manchester, and I was over the moon excited. Well, it did not disappoint!!

On Saturday we got a tour of Old Trafford and it was pure magic. I'm sure I had stars (and hearts) in my eyes as we walked around in the theatre of dreams.

Fergie's won some titles you might say... :D
Quotes from fans that are just as superstitious as me.

In the dressing room - Rooney is the favorite!

Pretty damn happy after the tour, it was time for some food and beer in the red cafe.
I thought my boyfriend blended in well at the red cafe, maybe he should just switch from Lpool to United? ;)

The big day finally came, it was Sunday and matchday!
Happy, happy, happy with my new Rooney-shirt, on my way to Bishops Blaize before the match - the perfect place to be! Drinking beer and singing United-songs in a place packed with red-supporters, amazing!

"I can't believe this!"

Not the best picture, but the score was 3-0, 3-0!!
 WE WON!!
What a day! I will never forget this, and one thing is for sure - this was not my last time at OT! Words can not describe the feeling, I had tears in my eyes several times during the match.
What a feeling what a night, oh what a night!

Manchester

I've been looking forward to this day about a year now, and it's finally just three days away!!
This Friday, I'm going to Manchester with my boyfriend to see the match between Manchester United and Tottenham. I can't wait! I've been a United-fan pretty much all of my life, but I have never been to a match before. When I turned 25 my parents gave me the present of a lifetime; a trip to Manchester to see a match, and now the time has come!!

I'm seriously going to cry when I enter the stadium and get to see it all for myself! This is just so big, and I've been wishing for it for so long.

I mean look at this!!
Anyway, we are in Manchester from Friday until Monday. The match was supposed to be on Saturday, but had to be moved till Sunday. I liked this change because if they were to loose, it is now right before we're going home, so it doesn't have to ruin the trip haha. I'm pretty sure we will have an awesome time either way, but I'm not in the best of moods after a loss.

So we arrive on Friday, in the evening, so the plan is basicly just to get to the hotel and hang out before we have to go to bed. Saturday starts off with a tour at Old Trafford. Even though my boyfriend is not a Manchester United-fan (Liverpool) I made it clear that if he wanted to come with me on this trip he had to join in on the different United-activities and at least pretend to love it (but come on, he's a guy that likes football, even though it's not his team I'm sure he's going to find it fun and interesting!).

After a couple of hours at the theatre of dreams I guess we have to get some lunch and then do some shopping. I've found out that there is a mall nearby our hotel, how perfect! ;)
So I guess we're going to spend some hours in here! Unfortunately I havent saved up as much as I would like to, and the currency is really high now, so I don't think there is going to be as much shopping as a girl might hope for ;)
In the evening we will have to find a place to eat, I'm not sure where, but I'm positive we'll find something good and then just enjoy the rest of the night with dinner and drinks :)

Sunday is MATCH-DAY! Nothing much to say other than I CAN'T WAIT.

Then Monday I will hopefully be in a perfect mood because they won (fingers crossed), then we have to check out of the hotel. If we didn't walk around in Manchester on Saturday (because the hours flew by in the centre) I guess that is what we're going to do the last day before it's time to go to the airport :)

As you can see, it's going to be an awesome weekend! And it's just days away! Now I better work really hard with my thesis so that I can take a couple vacation days without a bad conscience.

Have a good tuesday! :)

First draft

Last Friday I submitted my first draft of the thesis to my supervisor. It was the two first chapters of my thesis and I thought it was very scary.. I was really dreading this first dealine, previously I've only submitted dispositions, so this was far more extensive. It turned out okay, not great, but at least I did it and the first hurdle is now behind me. I got some feedback today, so I'm really looking foreward to do some changes tomorrow and get started for real on the next to chapters - which I've set aside until now.

I can't believe that it's less than two months until the final deadline! The only thing to say is OMG! Haha I'm really stressed out, but I guess everything is going to work out in the end. I just have to focus these last months!
My plan is to take two exams again to improve their grades in late May, but after that, I'm hopefully done studying :) Time flies, it doesn't seem that long ago that I started studying law, and here I am, just inches away from the finish line!

By the way, this is a picture I took at my school last week (or the week before) - just a normal day in rainy Bergen?

The selfie stick

It's official, I'm still a teenager at heart. On saturday I went to a mall with the only purpose (except for buying food that is - but I could have done that much closer to home) to buy a selfie stick. The only thing I can say to defend my purchase is that now (if I dont get too embarassed) I can take pictures of me and my boyfriend together when we are on trips together, without just getting the faces or having to ask someone (which I'm probably going to do either way because sometimes that is necessary), and I can take a picture with my friends without one of them missing because they are behind the camera.

But lets be honest, it's called a selfie stick, there is no point in pretending that I'm not going to use it mainly for that purpose. Now all I need is a new phone, so that I can get some better photos (if you dont know what I mean, you will after seeing the ones I've taken so far) :)

When you wear red lipstick, the duckface just appears when you're taking photos...weird ;)

SOBAZAAR

It's so much fun creating boards to inspire yourself (and maybe others)! The one with the denim shirt I made just now, and I really wish that could be my outfit for tomorrow, but seeing that it snowed (!) today (and the insignificant detail that I dont have any of these items) I guess I have to wait for better days.

Now I just need to get these items in my wardrobe and I'm good to go ;) Or maybe I should start by making boards with clothes I actually own, so that I can wear the outfits at once... Anyway hope you've had a great weekend, I'm actually looking foreward till tomorrow - new week, new opportunities!

The kimono and flash tattoos

Just a couple of days after I made the post about Etsy and summer vibes I found this kimono at h&m, I guess it was meant to be huh? ;) Also I've ordered some flash tattoos, which I love to have fun with - I really want a new tattoo, but before I put some ink on my arm I have to see what it's like to have something there :)

The faux fur

I LOVE this jacket! During this fall/winter I've been searching for the perfect faux fur. It turned out to be pretty difficult because I didn't want to spend too much money - and the pretty ones tend to be very pricey.. At last I found the perfect jacket online at Missguided, lovelovelove! Only thing that sucks is that Bergen is famous for the rain = not a good match for (faux) fur! I've used it a few times, and today it was nice and cold out so I was super-excited because that meant that I could wear it *smilesmilesmile*

Have a good monday!
